GRL has been nominated for an at ONS 2008 by an international jury appointed by the Offshore Northern Seas (ONS) Conference. The nomination is for DeepLive 2.0, GRL’s groundbreaking offshore monitoring software that provides advanced 3D visualisations of live subsea assets in real-time.

The jury now has to shortlist five finalists for the ONS SME Innovation Award and then select the ultimate winner. The winner of the SME Innovation Award will be announced at a special Innovation lunch to be held in Hall A at the Stavanger Forum, from 11.30-13.30 on Wednesday, August 27th.
“We are extremely pleased to be nominated for the ONS SME Innovation Award as it is an objective, informed, industry recognition of the quality and utility of our products and support, and the innovative skills of our people,” said Dr Jason Tisdall, Managing Director of General Robotics Limited. “It is also gratifying to be nominated in the company of some of the leading players in the offshore industry.”
DeepLive 2.0 introduces a new generation of live data display with advanced graphics and multiple simultaneous views allowing real-time monitoring of subsea tasks, scenario planning, training and client presentations. As part of the DeepWorks product set, DeepLive models can be used in a scalable toolset which supports the entire vertical upstream sector from early engineering concepts through to live monitoring. DeepWorks 2.0 is also robust as part of an enterprise scalable infrastructure using an SQLServer backend.
