Milan Buransky has joined General Robotics Limited as a software programmer.
Milan comes to GRL with considerable experience in computer graphics development. His initial responsibilities include the production of a graphics exporter from Autodesk’s 3D Studio Max and further developing the graphics engine in GRL’s DeepWorks products.
“This is a great opportunity for me to work at the forefront of computer graphics, programming subsea simulations,” said Milan Buransky. “I love programming, so pretty much any piece of code excites me, but computer graphics is particularly interesting.”
“GRL’s order book is growing fast, and part of the reason is the technical excellence and robustness of our products, combined with the realism of our simulation graphics,” commented Dr Jason Tisdall, Managing Director of General Robotics Limited. “The appointment of outstanding technical specialists, and the enthusiasm Milan has, will help us produce the tools our customers need.”
Milan previously worked for Virtual Viewing in Milton Keynes and Profireal in his native Slovakia. He holds a Computer Science degree from the University of Konstantina Filozofa in Slovakia where he subsequently taught mathematics and computer science. When he is not in front of a computer, Milan is partial to a spot of football and plays a keen game of chess.
